Overall Application Status Definitions
There are 8 different Overall Application Statuses, each of which is color-coded for quick identification. Below are the descriptions of each, along with the colors.
Definitions
Draft (Grey) - An applicant is in the process of completing an application but hasn't yet submitted it. The Permit Managers and Applicants can access the application, but Reviewers can't.
Submitted (Brown) - The application has been submitted by the applicant. In this status, the information is locked down and can't be edited; Applicants can view the applications, but they can't update any fields. Permit Managers can view all fields to the application, but Reviewers don't have access. When this status occurs, two email notifications are sent: one to the Applicant as a submission confirmation, and one to the Permit Manager to notify them of the new submission.
More Info Needed (Blue) - The application has a lot of missing or insufficient information in the application. when an application is put in this status, all application fields are re-opened and Applicant can make changes to any of them. The Permit Manager can also post a comment when they make the status change. An email notification gets sent to the applicant with the status change, along with any comments. We recommend Permit Managers always use the comment to indicate where the insufficient information is located in the application. The Applicant will need to re-submit the application in the system once they have finished updating the application.
Under Review (Orange) - The application has gone through pre-screening and the Permit Manger is satisfied with the submitted information, which means the review process can begin. The Applicant and Mapped (Assigned) Reviewers will receive email notifications about the status change.
Cancelled (Purple) - The application is cancelled. The Applicant and Mapped Reviewers will receive email notifications about the status change.
Declined (Red) - The application is declined. However, we always recommend going through a full resolution process with the Applicant before declining an application. The Applicant will receive an email notification about the status change.
Approved (Light Green) - The application is approved and the even can proceed. The Applicant and Mapped Reviewers will receive email notifications about the status change.
Closeout (Dark Green) - All post-event/application processes have been completed. The Applicant and Mapped Reviewers will receive email notifications about the status change.
