Generate a Permit for an Application
Eproval generated Permits contain specific data pulled directly from an application, so you don't have to copy information between different systems. If permits are enabled for your setup, the Eproval Customer Success Team will create a template that is customized specifically for your city.
Examples of data that can be included on permits include, but are not limited to, displaying all the dates and times for an event, displaying the answers to the event details questions, and displaying answers to questions that are located in optional workflow steps only if those steps have been answered as "Yes".
The steps below explain how to generate a permit for a specific application. Once generated, permits can then be uploaded with the application and shared with the Applicant and other stakeholders with access to Eproval.
Steps
Open the Application you want to generate the permit for.
Select the Permit tab. If you don't see the tabs at the top of the application, click Appication Review first.
Click Generate Permit.
Select the Permit Template you want to use to generate the permit.
You'll see a preview of the permit that will be generated. You can't make changes to the displayed information, but you can change the template if you have multiple templates available.
Scroll to the bottom of the Permit and click Create Permit.
A confirmation message displays when the permit has been generated.
To view the permit, click Application Review and then click the Permit tab. Select the Name of the permit to open it.
