Find an Invoice

There are two ways you can find an existing invoice in Eproval: through the application it was created for, and by searching through all invoices in the Billing section of Eproval.

Find an Invoice on an Application

If you know the application the invoice was created for, you can find it through that application.

  1. Open the application you want to edit the invoice for.

  2. At the top of the application, select the Billing tab. If you don't see the row of tabs, make sure you're at the top of the application or select Application Review from the Application Tools menu.

  3. The Billing tab displays a list of all existing invoices on that application.

Find an Invoice in the Billing Section

If you want to search through all invoices in the system, you can do so through the Billing section in Eproval.

  1. Go to Tools > Billing.

  2. Choose the Application Type from the dropdown menu at the top of the page. This will list all invoices for that type of application.

  3. By default, they're sorted by Date, with the newest invoices at the top. To sort by another column, click the column header.

  4. However, the easiest way to find a specific invoice is to use the filters just below the table headers. You can use each of the filters by itself, or in combination with the other filters.

Shows the Invoice table headers and the filters options for each column as described in the bullets below.
    • Date: Click Show Filter. Click in the Start Date field and use the calendar to select a start and end date range.

    • Invoice Number: If you know all or part of the invoice number, you can enter it here. Partial numbers will return invoices with the same number combination.

    • Application: If you know all or part of the application name, you can enter it here.

    • Bill To: If you know all or part of the bill to name, you can enter it here.

    • Due Date: Click Show Filter. Click in the Start Date field and use the calendar to select a start and end date range for the invoice's due date.

    • Total: Enter a Minimum and Maximum dollar range for the invoice's total amount due.

    • Balance: Enter a Minimum and Maximum dollar range for the invoice's balance due.

    • Status: Select a Status to see only invoices with that status.

    • Department: If you know all or part of the department name the invoice was created for, you can enter it here.

  5. Once you've located the invoice, you can click the Invoice Line in the table to open it and take available actions.
