Edit the Grey Box Text

Eproval gives you complete control and flexibility over the instructional text you show applicants in the application. We call this the Grey Box text because it lives in a grey box on the application sections, to separate it from the actual application questions applicants need to answer.

This text can provide context or instructions around an application section, let applicants know about supporting permits they need to obtain, or even link out to those permit applications or documents they need to download. Updates or changes appear in real time, which means the next time an applicant or another user visits the edited application section, they'll see the changes.

Steps

Eproval provides a prototype application for the most common application types, which includes Grey Box Text for every section in the prototype. This means that there will already be text in those sections, even if you're visiting it for the first time.

  1. Go to Tools > Configuration.

  2. Depending on your setup, you may see multiple application types listed, or you may have only one. Scroll down to the application type you want to edit and click Steps & Workflow.

  3. Every step listed is a different section in the application, and every section has its own grey box text that you can update. Find the step you want to update, and click on the Edit icon in the Content column.

The Edit Icon listed under the Content column.
