Dynamic Parameters

Dynamic Parameters are tags used in Pre-Set Email Notifications and Scheduled Email Notifications that let you merge in data such as the recipient's name, the application's name and dates, and links to the application form.

Dynamic Parameters appear within a double set of curly brackets - for example, {{APPLICATIONNAME}} - and are used within Email Subject and Email Body fields to bring in applicable information and add it to the subject or body to provide meaningful information to the recipient. For example, you could have the Application Name in the Email Subject line, or include the recipient's first and last name, or the event's start and end dates, in the Email Body. This lets you create a single email notification that can apply to multiple applications and recipients, and works like a Mail Merge would work in a word processing application like Microsoft Word.

Dynamic Parameter Descriptions

• {{APPLICATIONNAME}}: The name of the application that was submitted.

  Note: This is the only parameter that can be used in the Email Subject.

• {{STARTDATE}}: The event's scheduled start date.

• {{ENDDATE}}: The event's scheduled end date.

• {{RECIPIENTFIRSTNAME}}: The email recipient's first name.

• {{RECIPIENTLASTNAME}}: The email recipient's last name.

• {{RECIPIENTEMAIL}}: The recipient's email address.

• {{PERMITCATEGORY}}: The category of the application submitted.

• {{APPLICATIONREVIEWLINK}}: A link that will open the application needing attention.

• {{APPLICANTSURVEYLINK}}: A link to the post-submission survey that can be sent if you have the Eproval Survey add-on module.

• {{APPLICATIONRENEWALLINK}}: A link that can be used to renew an event.

• {{UNSUBSCRIBELINK}}: A link that can be used to unsubscribe from your email list.
