Assign a Reviewer to a Single Application (One-Time Approval)
If a Reviewer is only needed on special cases, you can add a Reviewer to a specific application for a one-time approval. When you add a reviewer using the method below, they will only be assigned to the one application and they will not be assigned to any future applications. If you also want to assign them to application sections going forward, after you complete these steps, follow the Add a Reviewer to the List of Default Workflow Approvers instructions.
You can add a Reviewer to an Application when the Overall Application Status is Under Review.
Steps
Open the application you would like to add an Reviewer to.
Under Application Tools on the left side, click Manage Workflow.
Scroll to the Workflow Section (Step) you would like to add the reviewer to and click the Plus (Add) icon.
From Select Reviewer dropdown menu, choose the reviewer you want to assign.
By default, the Approval Required toggle is set to "Yes" which means the Reviewer is required to approve the section. Toggle this to "No" if the Reviewer is NOT required to approve the step. This means they'll receive all of the notifications and can view the application, but they won't have to take any actions on the section.
Ensure the Enabled toggle is set to Yes.
Click Add Reviewer.
